Year 9 Art & Design Students have been exploring an ‘Outer Space’ project in their Art and Design lessons. They have produced observed paintings in acrylic paint whilst studying outer space photographs taken by the NASA Hubble Satellite telescope. These are just a few of the amazing outer space observed paintings in which students have aimed for Excellence in their work.
Students explored and experimented with a range of painting tools and techniques. They are now developing their own imaginary Outer Space paintings from their own montaged compositions, which were made using photographs of astronauts and photography taken by the NASA Hubble Satellite telescope.
