Quest
Our year 12 Geographers showed exceptional resilience in Keswick, battling typically hardy Lake district weather on their quest to investigate impacts of tourism on the character of the town. They interviewed members of the public (much to their despair!) conducted land use surveys, non participant surveys, housing quality surveys and walkability surveys. They then returned to base camp for the night and studied statistical analysis techniques including chi squared and man whitney u tests. After a filling dinner of meatballs and sumptuous vegan brownie, they have been showing respect and self discipline in our card games evening. Uno and Dobble where being played empathically and the card game "taco goat cheese pizza" produced some hearty giggles, and competitive edges were brandished.
