World Book Day takes place on Thursday 6th March and to help celebrate we will be holding the St Benet Biscop Festival of Reading from Monday 3rd March until Friday 7th March. World Book Day is an annual celebration of authors, illustrators, books and the joy of reading and it is a fantastic opportunity for us to focus on reading for pleasure and the benefits of getting into good reading habits. There are two student events we would like to announce now: a student 'caught reading' photo competition and a secret book swap event. See the flier for more information.
